Classic Australian Gold Rum
Classic Australian Gold Rum is a golden warming rum style flavouring with sweet wine and vanilla after notes and a lingering alcohol taste which compliments its gentle spiciness (like that Bundaberg favourite). Makes 2.25L.
Australian Gold Rum is traditionally made by fermenting and distilling sugar cane molasses or sugar cane juice. The clear liquid is aged in oak barrels - which is where the gold colour comes from. Still Spirits flavourings makes it easy to make Gold Rum in the classic Aussie style at home (no sugar cane required). Simply mix the flavouring sachet with neutral alcohol.
Enjoy over ice or with your favourite mixer (always goes well with a coke).
Each pack contains two sachets and makes up 2 x 1.125ml (1.2 US qt) bottles.
Add one sachet contents to 1.125 L (1.2 US qt) of 40% ABV home distilled neutral alcohol. Rinse out any remaining flavouring from the sachet with some of the alcohol.
