A dark and malty homebrew extract kit that makes a full flavoured dark beer. Brewed with four speciality malts it is complex,  yet smooth with a touch of sweetness. 

It is the base for our Old Engine Oil recipe (craft extract recipe #34)

You might also know it as Black Rock Bock - it's the same on the inside, just a new label on the outside. 

How much beer does it make? 21 litres (that’s the equivalent of 56 stubbies)

IBU: 16

SRM: 25

BV: 4.5%

Malt: 69.1% Lager,16.7% Caramalt, 8.3% Crystal, 4.6% Chocolate and 1.3% Roasted malts

Hops (bittering): Green Bullet, Pacific Gem

I found it like a lighter English ale (- but cold and effervescent like beer should be :-) . Very enjoyable for someone starting to broaden their taste from a package lager (New/VB) before moving towards a sharper IPA.
