This has been a go-to solution for a quick turnaround ginger beer, which is tasty and refreshing. As an extra we usually strain a handful of grated ginger in a liter of boiled water (think ginger tea) which we add to the batch prior to fermenting.
I’m very intolerant of artificial sweeteners and of course it’s entirely my fault for not checking before buying this product. It was my very first attempt at ginger beer and I had done no homework. I’m also concerned that there’s no indication on the product that the ginger flavours are natural. But overall a good learning experience nonetheless. I’ve already bottled a second brew with natural ginger and malt extract using a recipe that I found easily on the internet. I’ve incorporated (as I did in the Morgan’s batch) the wonderful Kingsley Phillips recipe found in the “Brewniversity”). I can either put up with a drier taste or sweeten with a teaspoon of real sugar on serving. Staff were most helpful bringing me up to speed with ginger beer making for which I’m very grateful.

Easy to use. Fermentation was at a constant rate for the entire 6 days. Clear when fermentation stopped as the bubbles stopped in total. Force carbonated and have been enjoying a glass every night for the last week. Nice ginger aroma with a good ginger/spice after taste.
