Noble Barons Learn to Home Brew Workshops November 2022

Learn to Home Brew

November is Learn to Brew Month at Noble Barons Home Brew Supply Stores.

To celebrate the 24th annual American Home Brew Associations Learn to Homebrew Day on 5 November, we are going all in and helping you to rule your craft all month long.

Free workshops, demonstrations and banter on all things home brew will run across our 3 retail stores throughout November. Starting at our Port Stephens store on Saturday 5 November, to coincide with Learn to Homebrew Day.

Curious about home brew, how to do it, the styles of beer you can make and how much it can save you? Or maybe you are already brewing but want to next level your skills (there’s so much to learn). Don't miss this opportunity to meet your local brew crew, ask all your questions and learn about the different ways of brewing from extract cans to fresh wort kits and all grain (the holy grail).

Throughout the day we will:

  • Demonstrate step-by-step how to put down your first brew with a standard, store bought starter kit
  • Explain the importance of cleaning and sanitising
  • Talk about the different styles of beers you can brew at home
  • Explain the differences of ingredients and equipment available to make your brew shine
  • Demonstrate step-by-step how to brew from Fresh Wort Kits (FWK’s) and explain what the FWK they are
  • Brew an all grain recipe on using the Grainfather all grain brewing system
  • Show you how to bottling and keg your beer
  • Taste some delicious beer (yeah - we’ll let you taste som too)!
  • Have the BBQ and smoking going showing how to use our range of meat rubs and smoking chips

We’ll kick off at 10am with workshops and last drinks at 2pm.

These free events are perfect for anyone just starting their home brew journey and experienced brewers alike. They will able also be a great source of inspiration and a chance to rub shoulders with other home brewers.
